This Minorca prototype was one of the first built by the designer, /u/alex_at_panc.  It has a steel skeleton frame and lubed Cherry stabilizers.  This keyboard was used as a launching point for the many enhancements that have been incorporated in subsequent generations of the Minorca.

The Gateron Browns feel lively and the lightly-textured double-shot ABS keycaps are nice to touch.

This keyboard is responsible for my love affair with 40% keyboards, and specifically, the offerings from Panc Interactive.  The intuitive default layouts are easily to grow into and serve as a perfect starting point for customizing layers to one’s preferences.
